Ptosis Men - 30'S Before & After Case 131

This patient in his 30s presented with a drooping left eye that caused him undesirable asymmetry. 

On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted left lid ptosis and recommend repair internally. This involved making an incision on the backside of the eyelid to shorten and tighten the Mueller muscle, allowing the muscle to contract more and thus lift the eyelid up.

Patient, pictured here 1-week post left internal ptosis repair, demonstrated brighter and more symmetrical eyes and restored confidence.
