FaceTite, and its smaller variation AccuTite, uses radiofrequency energy to burn and melt fat internally while tightening the skin externally. These procedures may be performed with local anesthesia.
The cannula is inserted through incisions so small they do not requires sutures. The radiofrequency energy is delivered from the cannula to the fat under the skin. Depending on the amount of liquefied fat, the fat may be removed via liposuction. RF energy also triggers the collagen remodeling response. FaceTite is appropriate for the neck, jawline, and larger areas, while AccuTite is intended for smaller, more precise areas, including the lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, and minor jowling.
