Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is also known as Vampire facelift. PRP is plasma concentrated in platelets, which are natural growth factors. These factors stimulate collagen production and thus improves skin tone, tightening and texture.

What can I expect during the procedure?
Small amount of blood is drawn and spun to separate blood cells from the plasma. The plasma is injected or applied to the skin. PRP is often use in conjunction with Dermapen.

What will I look like after the PRP?
PRP requires minimal to no downtime. Patient may be bruised for a week or less.

How many sessions do I need?
We typically recommend 3-5 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.

How long will the effect of PRP last?

Effects may be noticed 6-8 weeks later and last for a year or more.

What are the side effects?
There are minimal side effects since PRP comes from the patient. Therefore, there is no risk of allergic reaction. However, patient may be bruised if PRP is injected into the skin rather than applied as a topical.
