As a part of the aging process, the eyebrows begin to droop, which results in an angry, worried, or tired appearance. This droop may also contribute to droopy eyelids. Brow elevation or stabilization can be performed, frequently at the same time as other eyelid surgery and often through the same eyelid incision.

What to expect after surgery
Recovery is limited by the bruising and swelling that typically involves the eyelids and can last up to 2 weeks. However, most bruising can be covered with makeup or glasses after the first week. Some patients may experience numbness in the central part of their forehead, depending on the type of brow lift surgery. This typically resolves itself in a few months.
